Changing the Order of Objectives in an Objective List
Follow these steps to change the order of objectives in a standard objective list for class Assignment Books. Please keep in mind that your changes will affect all classes who are using the list.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
School Network/RP Administrators, School Network Staff, School Administrators, School Staff and Teachers
You cannot change the order of objectives in the library lists that were automatically created for each library, but you can change the order of objectives in lists that you own. School administrators can also change lists owned by others within their school, and school network administrators can change lists owned by anyone in the school network.
On the Home page, click Accelerated Maths, then Assignment Book. The Assignment Book lists the students who are in one class. The class name is shown above the list of students. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list to choose a school. If you have more than one class, and you would like to select a different class, click the Class drop-down list and select the class name. If the objective list is being used by a specific group, select the group from the Group drop-down list.
On the Home page, click Accelerated Maths, then Libraries. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list to choose a school.
Click Manage Objectives on the left side of the page. The Manage Objectives page will appear next.
If you came from the Libraries page, click the Objective List drop-down menu and choose the list that you want to change. If you came from the Assignment Book, you can select a different group using the Group drop-down list if you want to work with another group's objective list.
Click Reorder on the Manage Objectives page. (If this link is not available, you may not have permission to change the list, or it may be one of the standard lists that were automatically created for each library.)
On the next page, you can choose to reorder objectives by library or individually (by objective) or to restore the original order of the objectives. Click one of the options.
When you restore the default order, the program will put the objectives within each library in the order in which they appear in the library itself. (You can see this order by viewing the Library Guide or Scope and Sequence.) If you have objectives from more than one library, the program will also group the objectives from each library together and put them in year level order. (For example, year 2 objectives would appear before year 3 objectives.)
The program will ask if you are sure that you want to do this. Click OK in this message.
The next page will list the libraries that are the source of the objectives in this objective list. The page will show you how many objectives are included from each library. Click in the blank in the left column for each library and type in the order number. For example, if you are using both Year 3 and Year 4 objectives, and you want the Year 3 objectives to appear first, type "1" in the New Order blank for the Year 3 library, and type "2" in the New Order blank for the Year 4 library. To save the new order, click Save.
The Reorder Objectives by Objective page lists the objectives that are in the objective list. First, tick the box next to the objectives that you want to move. If you want to move the objective(s) up or down a specific number of positions, click in the blank next to the appropriate button and type the number of positions; then, click the Move Up or Move Down button. If you want to move the objective(s) to a specific position, click in the blank next to Move To and type the position number; then, click the button. When you have finished changing the objective order, click Save.
