Removing Objectives from a List
Follow these steps to remove objectives from objective lists. If more than one class is using an objective list, please keep in mind that your changes will affect all classes that are using the list.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
School Network/RP Administrators, School Network Staff, School Administrators, School Staff and Teachers
You cannot remove objectives from library lists. List owners can remove objectives from their lists. Administrators can remove objectives from any list (except library lists).
-
On the Home page, click Accelerated Maths, then Assignment Book. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list to select a school. If you have more than one class, click the Class drop-down list and select a class. If the objective list is used by a specific group, select the group from the Group drop-down list.
If you are not a teacher, or if you want to remove objectives from a list that you are not currently using, on the Home page under Accelerated Maths, click Libraries to go to the Libraries page. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list to select a school.
-
Click Manage Objectives on the left side of the page. The Manage Objectives page will appear next.
-
If you came from the Libraries page, click the Objective List drop-down menu and select the objective list that needs objectives removed. If you came from the Assignment Book, you can switch groups using the Group drop-down list to work with a different group's objective list.
-
Click Add/Remove. The Add/Remove Objectives page will appear.
-
The Add/Remove Objectives page lists the libraries from which you can remove objectives. You can scroll through the list on the right side of the page and click X next to each objective that you want to remove, or you can use the drop-down list to choose how you want to search for objectives to remove: by library, by searching for the objective name or by searching for a standard code. For more information, click one of the links below.
If you chose to search by objective name, enter part of the objective name and click Search. The search results will show the matching objectives that are not in your objective list and those that are. To remove objectives that are in your list, tick the box next to the objectives you want to remove; then, click Remove. (If you want to limit your search to certain libraries, click Advanced Search before you begin your search; then, tick the libraries, and click Select to return to the search page, where you can then enter the name you want to search for in those libraries.)
If you chose to search by standard code, enter all or part of the code and click Search. The search results will show the matching objectives that are not in your objective list and those that are. To remove objectives that are in your list, tick the box next to the objectives you want to remove; then, click Remove. (If you want to limit your search to certain libraries, click Advanced Search before you begin your search; then, tick the libraries, and click Select to return to the search page, where you can then enter the standard code you want to search for in those libraries.)
Within the list on the right side of the page (or in search results), click
to see sample problems for an objective.

When you have finished removing objectives, click Done. You will return to the Manage Objectives page.
