Changing the General Preference

By following the steps below, any user of Accelerated Maths can change the General preference.

The General preference determines how many items you will see at one time in vertical lists of objectives that you add, remove, assign, view or print assignments for. For example, if you click a student's name in the Assignment Book, some of the student's objectives will be listed on the page that appears; the General preference would determine how many of the student's objectives you could see at one time.

The General preference is a user preference. This means that each person can choose his or her own setting, and your changes will not affect anyone else who is using Accelerated Maths. If you have access to more than one school, you can choose different preferences for different schools.

Who can do this with default capabilities?

School Network/RP Administrators and Staff, School Administrators, School Staff and Teachers

To change the preference, follow these steps:

  1. On the Home page, click Accelerated Maths, then Preferences.
  2. If you have access to more than one school, click the School drop-down list above the list of class preferences and choose a school.
  3. Click General in the list of user preferences.
  4. The General Preference page will appear. To change the number of items that will appear in vertical lists of objectives, click in the blank, delete the current number and type a new number.
  5. If you prefer to go back to the default (original) setting for this preference (20), click Default on this page.

  6. To save your changes, click Save.
