Downloading and Installing the Renaissance Place Print Plug-In
If you want to use paper assignments, the Paper Assignments preference lets you decide if you want to print Accelerated Maths assignments directly to the printer or preview them first in the Adobe Reader. By default, this preference is set to direct printing. To print assignments directly, you will need the Renaissance Place Print plug-in before you can print assignments. Follow these steps to install the plug-in.
Note: You do not need the plug-in if you only plan to use online assignments or if you set the preference to preview assignments before printing.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
School Network/RP Administrators, School Network Staff, School Administrators, School Staff and Teachers
There are several places in the program where you can find a link to the print plug-in:
If you went to the Downloads page, scroll down until you see the Renaissance Place Print Plug-In. Click the name of the program or Download for the plug-in.
A knowledge base article will open. In this article, click the HERE link for your operating system. If your browser gives you options for this file, you can choose to expand it or simply save the file to disk.
Follow the instructions on the page to install the plug-in.
If you are already in the Assignment Book, the page will notify you if you do not have the printing plug-in. Click Install Plug-in behind the message in red text and go to step 3.
If you have attempted to print an assignment without the plug-in, you can click the link provided on the View Assignment page and go to step 3.
If you have not yet logged in, on the Renaissance Place Welcome page, click Check Software Requirements. Then, click Downloads on the left side (or top) of the next page.
If you have logged in and you are not on any of the pages mentioned above, click Home at the top of any page in the program. Then, click Product Administration. On the Product Administration page, click Download Supporting Software. Then, click Downloads on the left side (or top) of the next page.
