Online versus Paper Assignments

When you generate assignments (practices, exercises, tests or diagnostic tests) in Accelerated Maths, you choose whether the assignments are online or paper. The lists below tell you how the assignments are different.

Online assignments:

  • Students complete these by logging in and working in the student program on a computer or tablet.
  • Students see and answer the problems on the computer or tablet, but they should use a math notebook to work the problems. (Students may print a copy of online practices and exercises, though they still must answer the questions online.)
  • Students can see peer help (other students working on the objectives) if the Online Resources preference allows this. Students can also flag problems that they want to come back to.
  • Are marked automatically and cannot be re-marked once students submit the assignment.
  • Teachers can view online assignments in the Assignment Book.
