How Students Mark Paper Assignments in the Software

Students who log in to the software can mark their own paper assignments even though they are not online assignments. For this type of assignment, students will not see the problem or be able to get resources.

Students follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Renaissance Place.
  2. On the student Home page, select Accelerated Maths.
  3. If a Choose Your Class window opens, select the class that you want to mark a paper assignment for; then, select Done.
  4. If you see a Group drop-down list, use it to choose whether to mark work for the class or a group.
  5. Select Mark for the type of paper assignment that you want to mark.
  6. You will see the form number for the paper assignment and the list of problem numbers. Select your answer to each problem number. If you are working at a computer, you can press the letter of each answer on the keyboard instead. (If you want to save your work before you have finished, select Save & Exit at the top of the page.)
  7. If you need a new paper copy of the assignment, select Reprint Assignment in the green bar at the top of the page.

  8. When you have finished, select Submit.
  9. You will see your score (number correct and percentage) and the number of incorrect responses you chose. Then, you will see a list of the problems for each objective and your answer. You may also see the correct answer. Finally, you will see a list of objectives on the assignment and your scores for each objective.
  10. If you want a printed copy of the summary, click Print, then select your printer. (The printed copy may also include the correct answers to missed questions and a signature line for parents; teachers set this in the TOPS Report and Online Review preference.)

When you have finished reading the results, select Done.
