Follow these steps to un-assign objectives that have been assigned to your students. You can only un-assign objectives that students have not worked on - objectives that currently have the Assigned () status. If you are trying to un-assign an objective that has any assignment, marked or unmarked, you will receive an alert stating that Accelerated Maths is unable to complete the action.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
School Network/RP Administrators, School Administrators and Teachers
On the Home page, click Accelerated Maths, then Assignment Book. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list in the Assignment Book to choose a school. If you have more than one class, click the Class drop-down list and choose the class for which you want to un-assign objectives. If you need to un-assign objectives for a specific group, select the group from the Group drop-down list.
Tick the box next to each student for whom you want to un-assign objectives. If you want to select all students, you do not need to tick any boxes before going on to the next step.
Click Hold/Un-assign/Reset on the left side of the page.
In the page that appears, tick the box for each objective that you want to un-assign.
If you selected more than one student, tick the box that appears where the column for the objective and the row for the student intersect. To see an objective's description and library, position your mouse over the objective number or scroll through the descriptions at the top of the page.
Click . Click it again to hide the standards.
Click next to an objective description to see sample problems for that objective.
Click Un-assign. The symbol(s) next to the objectives you selected will disappear.
Click Done. When you are ready to make the objectives active again, you can assign the objectives once again.
If students have the same objectives in more than one place, such as a group and the class, un-assigning objectives for a student in one place affects every place where the objective was assigned to the student.
