Editing the Mastery Time for a Level

Who can do this with standard capabilities?

School Network/Program Administrators, school administrators, Teachers

You can change the mastery time for (1) for individual students and levels or (2) all the students at one or more levels.

If a student has already worked on a level you are editing, your changes could affect the status of his or her work.

The Benchmarks Set for Mastery Table shows the benchmarks set for your school. For more information, see Editing the Benchmarks Preference.

A student whose time (for completing a test at that level) is now at or below the new mastery time limit will have the status of that level changed to Mastered. No other work will need be completed.

A student whose time (for completing a test at that level) now exceeds the new mastery time limit will have the Mastered state removed and the level will be put on Hold, even if the student had previously mastered the level.
