Before Students Practise or Test on a Renaissance Responder

Before deciding what you need to use MathsFacts in a Flash on Renaissance Responder, you will need to answer the following questions.

The software and hardware you will need to install and/or update will vary, according to your answers.

What do I want my students to do?

Students can practise using Renaissance Responders; they cannot master levels.

  • Practise without tracking their work in MathsFacts in a Flash Renaissance Place
  • Practise and track their work in MathsFacts in a Flash Renaissance Place.

Is a Renaissance Receiver installed in my classroom?

A Renaissance Receiver is used with

  • NEO 2s and NEO Manager
  • For information about NEO Manager, see the NEO 2 Quick Guide. Select Manuals in the upper right corner of any page in the MathsFacts in a Flash program. The NEO 2 Quick Guide is listed under MathsFacts in a Flash, as well as other programs.

  • the 2Know! Classroom Response System
  • For information about the 2Know! Classroom Response System, see the 2Know! Classroom Response System Installation and Setup Guide. Select Manuals in the upper right corner of any page in the program. Under Accelerated Maths, select 2Know! Classroom Response System Installation and Setup Guide.

Note: When the Renaissance Responder is used with MathsFacts in a Flash Offline, many of the items listed below only apply if you want to send the history to Renaissance Place.
