How Students Work in MathsFacts in a Flash RP on a Computer or Tablet

Teachers: Your school may also have Renaissance Home Connect, NEO 2s and Renaissance Responders available to your students. Be sure to review this information:

These steps describe how students work in MathsFacts in a Flash on a computer or tablet at school.

  1. Log in to Renaissance Place.
  2. On the Renaissance Place Home page, under MathsFacts in a Flash, select Start Working.
  3. If you are enrolled in more than one MathsFacts in a Flash class, you must choose a class to work in by selecting the appropriate class name.
  4. Choose the type of work to do:
    1. Select either Practice or Test.
    2. Take the practice or test.
    3. When you have finished:
    4. You will see a results screen with the your results and targets. It also lists the problems you got wrong, allowing you to review the correct answers.

      You will see one or more of these options, depending on the results of the practice or test.

      • To view a TOPS Report of your work, select TOPS (in the lower-right corner of the screen). Next, to print your TOPS Report, select Print.
      • To complete practice problems for the current level, select Practice.
      • To complete a test for the current level, select Test.
      • To try for a personal best time, select Challenge.
      • To begin work on mastering the next available level, select Next Level.
      • To continue working at the current level, select Try Again. Do this to improve your accuracy and/or time.
      • To work with a previously mastered level, select New Target. Do this to improve your personal best time and to review information.
      • To stop working in MathsFacts in a Flash RP, select Exit. You will see the page where you can select the type of work you want to do. Select Log Out in the upper-right corner.
    1. Select the level you want to work on.
    2. Select Challenge.
    3. Take the test.
    4. When you have finished:

      • You will see a results screen with your results and your targets. It also lists the problems you got wrong, allowing you to review the correct answers.
      • To view a TOPS Report of your work, select TOPS (in the lower-right corner of the screen). Next, to print your TOPS Report, select Print.
      • To continue working at the current level, select Try Again. Use this to improve accuracy and/or time.
      • To work with a different previously mastered level, select New Target. Do this to improve your time or to review.
      • To stop working, select Exit. You will see the page where you can select the type of work you want to do. In the upper-right corner, select Log Out.
